Morning- Nice, and easy 3 miles by myself. I slept in to get some extra sleep in for a very stressful day.

Afternoon- After going to my sister's wedding, and taking a couple pictures. I hurried home, and changed into my uniform, and grabbed a peach, and ate that for my "Lunch". But I had to hurry my way up to Cedar, and I was driving pretty fast. But I was worried I wouldn't get there in time... But I didn't stress it. And I felt good. Got to the race with 10 minutes, before the race. I ran over to the bathroom, went potty, and then ran back to the starting line, and that was my warm up. About 0.25 miles. So not much of a warm up.... But I got to the line, feeling good.

Race Report- The gun goes off, and I took out perfect, right next to Josh T. And in the front pack, just my best start ever. And then they fired the gun again for a false start! I was ticked! But still felt like it was a stride out. But then they fired the gun again, and this start wasn't as good as my first one. I took out a little slower, and it cost me the first mile... But I felt just amazing, and kept thinking inside my head I was doing awesome. I didn't get a first mile time, but it felt pretty quick, but not as quick as it should have been. And then starting the 2nd lap. I worked my way up a ton. I was passing people left, and right. And I didn't get a 2 mile mark time.... And then before I knew it, I was on my last lap!! 800 meters to go! So I started my kick! And I worked my way up more, and then with 500 meters to go. Micah T. Once again wanted to freshmen race me, and we started bumping a little, and hitting elbows. And we were stride for stride for about 50 meters, basically sprinting, and I said outloud, "I don't think so!" I probally should have not said that to him. But it gave me this HUGE aderaline, and I took off! Not seeing him for rest of the race. As soon as I hit the track, I told myself to LIGHT IT UP!! GO catch Paul, and Kyler. They were probally 25-50 meters ahead. And I went faster, than I thought I could, and caught Kyler with 50 meters to go, and starting going for Paul (I was wanting to score). And then I finished before I knew it. And was just as happy could be! I don't know why. I felt soo awesome, feeling like I did just amazing. But it wasn't really a peak performance, in fact it was eh. But for sure a great experience! And a stepping stone in the right way for me! I P.R.ed by like almost 20 seconds. So not a lot. But since my freshmen year. I was looking at my times from this course, and I have gotten nearly 5 minutes faster! That just blows my mind by far! I think I have become a great runner, from what I started out is (last J.V. runner!). To Varsity, but it's not quite time to stop yet. I still need to keep improving, and getting faster. 1.25 mile cool down. Team took 2nd to DH 25 to 49. They beat us by 24. We got a trophy, I thought that was pretty chill. But I know I can race fast, and right when it counts! Region, and state here I come for my titles I want!

Nice race, Matt. Keep your goals in mind and I bet you'll accomplish them.
