Morning- 5 miles with striders. Good run.

Afternoon- Didn't really think about the race. But I was ready to go. And give a good push. I warmed up 2 miles. And felt pretty nervous about this race, but I finally was ready to roll.

Race Report- Gun goes off. I took out way too slow. Thinking everyone wouldn't go out crazy... And they did! But I just told myself to relax the first mile. And I relaxed too much. Coming across the first mile 5:37... Pretty slow first mile for me. But then I had too make up sooo much ground on mile 2, and 3 to catch up to the chase pack. But I did really well on mile 2, and 3. And made up a lot of ground, but not enough. I was kinda doubting around the last lap, because the real pain came. I told myself to go. I did for about 100 meters. Than just died off slowly. I was within a couple seconds of the others guys 6-9 places with 600 meters to go. And I could have gone, but I didn't. I woulda, I coulda, I shoulda. Not of that crap now. But I felt pretty good about my placing, and time for the race! Just gotta make that first mile a little faster! Other than that great race! I am ready to get going, and got my drive back!
