Morning- Nice and easy 3 miles.

Afternoon- 2 mile warm up. 5x1000's today at hard pace, and 5 minute recovery. I went 3:18, 3:18 (this pace felt rather hard, but not like dying). Next one was 3:15, starting to get a litte tired now, but I just told myself one more. 4th one was 3:12. Thinking I could get atleast a 3:10 on this last one. And I took out fast on the last one leading for about 300 meters, and then backed off just a little for 200 meters. And with 500 meters to go, I made a move, and took the lead passing Abel, and Byron. And basically had to sprint at the end to stay with Abel, and Byron. And hitting 3:04. The last one, I wanted to die. Hard work out, but worth it. 1.5 mile cool.

Afternoon- 8 miles part of it with David. I basically went solo on this run. Did a 2 mile tempo got 5:56, and 5:52. I would say sissy mile splits. But felt like I put good effort in.

Morning- Nice and easy 3.

Afternoon- 2 mile warm up. And 400 repeats on the grass loop with a slight hill. We started at 1:20 pace per 400. And dropped down 1 second each one. 1:19, 1:18 etc. With 2 minute recovery. I got down to 1:09. Some of the times were faster than the one I was on. But this was a super hard work out. I ended up getting 12 repeats. I thought I did pretty good. 1.5 mile cool down.

Morning- Woke up, felt pretty tired, but it took me a while to get moving. Ate a nice breakfast. Got over to the meet at 7:30. Had a nice long warm up. 3.2 miles. And then did stride outs.

Race Report- Started out pretty well. I was probally in the high 80's, or high 90's place wise. And I worked my way up. And I came by the first lap, really not knowing my split. And then I worked my way up with the pack with Paul, Andrew, and Reed. We all took turns leading, and I finally took the lead again, and trying to push the pace, and no one ever came up on me again.... They just coasted off me, I guess. But then the 2 mile split was 11:22. Not very good 2 mile split. My 2nd mile was not too good. But the last mile I really tried to make up some ground. And I pushed my way up more, making move. And with 400 meters to go. I passed quite a few guys. And I felt good about my finish. And I felt great after. I ran the same time as last year, but placed way worse overall. And I think I ran smarter, and more effort this year than last year. So I think it was a pretty good race overall. Gotta work on that 2nd mile though. 1 mile cool down. Nice, and long ride home.

Morning- Nice and easy 3 miles, but I felt like crap, because I slept like crap last night, and I have a little head cold.

Afternoon- 2 mile warm up, and 3x1 mile repeats, and 5 minute recovery between each one. I hit 5:25, 5:34, and 5:33. I really felt my cold on my cool down. I had a hard time breathing during the whole work out, and I was completely exhausted, having no energy to push the pace during the work out. So that made me really mad, because this is basically the same times I ran last week, but I had 4 last week. But I decided to just accept what I did. I wanted faster times, But I am just going to be quiet about it. 1.5 miles cool down. I hate being sick...

Morning- 3 miles slower than I have ever done.... I felt soo awful.... But I survived....

Afternoon- After deciding whether to stay at school or not and call it a day. I finally decided to stay at school, and run in the afternoon. And glad I did! I took a power nap during 7th, and had this amazing dream, and got this huge aderaline, and it's like my sickness went away that moment. But I ran 4 miles today, and 4x200's to get some quick turn over for tomorrow's race. 0.5 mile warm up. Anyways I felt way better today, well during the afternoon! I am getting better! :D And now telling what I did on my run today, "La Puerta, esta la bano, y muy bueno!"

Morning- Nice and easy 3 miles.

Afternoon- 2 mile warm up, and some strides to get mileage.

Race Report- I took out fast wanting to get the pace going for some of the other guys, and at the 300 mark I just backed off completely, until we hit the hill then I surged back, and back by the first 1,200 lap at 4:05 (not bad). And then Dallin, and John made their long surge like every race, and pushed the back stretch, so I went with them for about 200 meters, and the gap just stayed the same for rest of the race. Came by the 2nd 1,200 lap at 8:22 (4:17 split, way too slow). And then I pushed it in hard to a 10:59.08. I wanted to atleast go sub 11 again. And I did. I thought it was good, considering I have been sick all week, and still recovering from that. And some life issues, but 1.5 mile cool down. Last time trial ever. Kinda sad I didn't P.R. But it's w/e.

Afternoon- 2 mile warm up, and 5x400's hard. With 400 equal soccer jog recovery. My splits were 1:06, :04, :03, :03, and 60. The last one really hurt, and I was glad to be done. 1.5 mile cool down. On the cool down, my throat was burning, and legs throbbing.

Afternoon- 5 miles easy, but rough. The first mile or so. My legs still felt those 400's from yesterday. But they evenutally loosened up, and I felt better. And I started peaking down into the low 7's. I probally shoud have gone slower.

Morning- Nice and easy 3 miles.

Afternoon- 2 mile warm up, and 1 mile race, and 1.5 mile cool down.

Race Report- Did some stride outs, and was waiting for the girls to finish racing. And then we went. I took out pretty good, but died off around the 250 mark in... Falling off pace bad... And then came by at 1:09. Eh... Not too good, but this was just the start.... 2nd lap was 1:11, and 3rd 1:12. And the last 1:09. So I finished at 4:42, basically tieing with Nick Hill. I had a fair mile, not my best, but not worst. So I really can't complain. :) But we had 12 sub 5's. And 3 guys from 5:00-5:03. So that's pretty beast for the time. We had some killer times, today from a lot of guys. And our team went 4:30, :31/32?, :39, :42, :42, :44, :46, :49, and :51. So pretty good team effort.

Morning- 2 mile warm up. Got my spikes, and was ready to race.

Race Report- The course was really muddy, and slippery by the time I raced. But I took out fast, and kinda backed off, after the first 200 meters. I came by the mile mark at 5:15. And I thought that was a solid first mile, but it wasn't that great. And the 2 mile mark was 10:57, and I thought I was going faster than that. But it wasn't... And then I was thinking I was almost done only with 400 meters to go, but 1k left really. And I made an early move for about 300 meters, and I was thinking I was going to burn out. And the thought kept coming back to my head. And it cost me the last 800ish meters left of the race. I was trying to push the pace, but kept on staying the same speed. Colton came up to me on the last 300 meters, and he started surging away, but I thought to myself that he wasn't getting away this time. And my body responsed, and went with him. I finished it strong. And thought I killed it, but turns out my time was way slower this year, than last year... But I wanna blame the mud, but it didn't slow me down that much. I just didn't try my hardest I guess... This is my last XC race ever in high school. Kinda sad to end it on a bad note. But during track I am going to kill it! I am looking forward to track now!

Morning- Started my break from running. But I rode the excercise bike for 20 minutes this morning, and did some core stuff later on.

Afternoon- Went up to Green Springs on my bike. And it was only 6.75 miles round trip, but half of it up hill. So it was a work out for my thighs. Going up the Green Springs park was terrible, and hard core at the same time. But going back home was easier, because it's all down hill. And then the Fire Station hill almost killed me, my legs were on fire going up that! But then came home, and walked about 200 meters to shake out the legs from the small ride. The end.

Afternoon- After, working 5 hours today, and recovery from that. I finally got out to hike with Pugs, Josh F., and Abel up to Mount Snibe Knibe. And it was fun, we found all kinds of stuff up there. We found a geocashe, a fox, and a cave. And the hike was 1.75 miles. I walked 1 mile before we started that, and then did a quick 11 minute bike ride, actually 2 mile bike ride. :) And then did another core work out. Just trying to stay in some-what-shape for now.
