Morning- I didn't race today, but had a tough work out. 12 miles with 4 miles tempo. Byron, and I were the only ones that had to go that far. I felt amazing on the way out there. I had a blast running out there! Looking at the giant meadow, and all the flat stuff! But Byron was listening to is i-phone the WHOLE time, so I had no to talk too... I don't really blame him. But we started our tempo when we turned around. The first half mile or so was fairly down hill, but not much. We both were dying of dehydration. I really tried to speed up, but just stayed the same pace. We had to stop for water at a spring 2.75 miles in the tempo. Then I just kept going after Byron stayed there for a while. But I speed up a lot on this part. Making my average faster. And my average was 6:12 pace/per mile. It was actually pretty eh. But considering no one was pushing the pace. And we both were dying. It was good. And only 3 seconds slower than last time. So not too bad. But have to start reaching this goal atleast of 6:00 minute pace.

Asics Wide Miles: 12.00
