Morning- Usual 0.5 mile warm up. Talked a little about life on it with some of the boys. And then did core work. That always goes well! And then we did our run which was 2 parkway hill loops. 7.20 miles total for the run. The first one was a steady pace, but nothing insane. Still required pushing, and all that. I recovered pretty well on the looping part. And on the 2nd one. I had to push way harder than the 1st one, because we were going faster. I lead it most of the way. Well Abel, and I lead this one! We were going 6:25-6:30 up the steep part of the hill. And 6:40 on the bumpy parts. I had to push a lot more at the end. It was for sure a hard work out! I felt pretty sluggish today... I am happy with what I did. My legs felt super heavy like giant bricks lifting one up each time... That never happens.... But it could because of going up hills a lot. But very nice work out! I am super excited for XC camp!
