Morning- Nice and easy 3. Felt pretty tired still...

Afternoon- Got on the bus for the meet. I didn't race for a while. And the ride wasn't very long so I ate just a little, because I thought I would be racing soon... Turns out it wasn't for another 2 hours so I was straving, and had no energy to run....

Race Report-

1,600 meter: I felt sluggish so to say, because I had not ate for like 6 hours.... I tried to get pumped, but the energy just wasn't there..... Learn from it, move on! Amen! But I started out pretty well at a 1:10 the first lap. And I thought I was speeding up on the 2nd lap. Not even close..... Came around the 2nd lap around 2:25 (1:15).  I could tell that I had no energy. It's like running on a tank of gas that's empty, just doesn't work. It's like having a car without gas.... You can't go anywhere! Besides pushing it! That's what I was doing pretty much..... That's unacceptable to me! Just straight up! That's barely on pace to break 5! I can do that in a work out!! But this is where it really hurt me..... My 3rd lap I came around at 3:44 (1:18).... That's slower than slow for me...... That's like a joke for me man..... HAHA! I even laugh now at it! But I just got straight up angry (P.O.)! So I just started sprinting as fast as I could. And ran the last lap at 4:52 (1:05)!  Not too shabby for the last lap! Because Abel, and Byron ran that exact same lap for the last! Nice start, nice finish, but no nice laps in the middle.... I will work on that! Learning from it, moving on baby! I wasn't really even that tired after the race too..... Like after I got my breath back! >:(

800 meter (medley)- I started out pretty good, and wanting to catch B- Whit from DH, and Jason Quinn from Dixie, but seriously.... They are just soo stinking fast man! But the first 200 I came by at 28, which is a bit fast. Slow I toned it down just by a litte. And then the first lap came around 1:02-:03. Not bad for a first lap! And then the curves were longer so that kinda messed up my pushing zones... But I tried pushing the curve, and the back stretch I slowed down too much. But not too much. And I was at 1:36 with 200 to go, and I started kicking, finished at a 2:09ish I guess. Not too bad. I was happy with the results. But Just gotta stay more relaxed on that 2nd lap. Like not get soo tensed up. That's for the last 200! :) But I like the 800! I was actually happy with it! But good experience! I talked to Brigham from DH after the race, and turns out he ran a 1:57!! Yikes! That's fast! Barely beating J.J. (Jason Quinn) from Dixie at a 1:58! That makes 4 sub 2's in Region 9 already in the 800! That's means I gotta run state times for sure! 2:01.09 here I come! :)
