YA!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS ME!!!!!!! It has been like 20,000,000 years since I have done this, but here we go! Today I run dog pound run (4 miles w/ 2 mileish tempo)! I honestly felt like crap!!! Timmy took off and I was like what are you doing?!?!?!? We don't start yet!!! Then manu passes me..... And I was like... OK... Maby we did start! So I started and I felt like I was going fast and pushing, but it was really hard today for some odd reason....

Ran 4 miles in the morning (over training *clap clap*)!!!!! Went another (1) mile in P.E. pacing someone... Then ran 5 for practice (afternoon) w/ .5 mile warm-up. So I ran 10.5 miles today! I have not gone that type of mileage in a while.

Today was 7 miles in the afternoon. It was a very nice/hard old mans run. It was 3x200,3x400,3x200 meters. It was pretty hard. When I was done. I was really confused. Like I zoned out of the world. And was like where am I?!?! Well I found out who I was, because soon it all came back. I felt light-headed for some reason... But I ran 8.5 miles today (mile in P.E., .5 warm-up, 7 miles run)!!!!

Had an amazing race with all 3 of my events!!! It was really great! On my 1600 meter (mile) run. I got a 5:08!!! P.R. YA!!!! I know I am going to go SUB 5 this season! Well also ran the 800 meter took 2nd in my heat time was 2:21. P.R. AGAIN!!! On the second lap Austin  and I picked it up alot and he passed me.... Then the last 120 meters I was thinking to myself... I am not going to let him beat him! So I kicked, even harder! And at the last 20 meters I passed him and finished with 2nd place!!! YEAH YEAH!!! BIG BOY IS HERE!!! WOAH!!!! Well in my 200 meter I took 3rd in my heat. Got a time of 26ish... But I just gotta keep trying new things! The meet was at Snow Canyon!!!

Had a Race today! Ran the 800 meter a time of 2:14! Took 2nd in my heat (lost 1st by 0.5 seconds.....)!!! But so close! Had a great race! First lap was in 2nd-3rd place. Then 200 meters left I started to hear a pack of runners behind me... So I was like crap!!!! So I picked it up big time (it felt like it)!!! And I passed 2 guys and was in 1st. Then 20 meters left. Some kid started to pass me.... Then I tryed and hold lead, but he got me.... Just by like 1 inch......

Today I ran in the afternoon. Harts warm-up and cool down (3 miles total). Track work-out with 1x1,200 meters, 2x1,000 meters, and 3x800 meters with 200 recover for each one. Honestly I sucked this work-out sucked!!! Like really bad, just cause I couldn't hit my times I was supposed too. And today was a bad day for me... So I will do better next time hopefully. I need to start stretching more, or I might pull something, or even get injuried....

HEY! Red Leader's on here!! Sweet! Well Red if you work really work your butt off and stick up with the big boys in workouts I have NO doubt you will be up with the varsity boys smashing PR's! YA! Started to put blog entries again!!!!! Well today I went 4 miles for run, and half mile warm-up! So total mileage is 4.5 miles. And on my run I felt good, until I hit the 1.5 mile mark.... After that I started to get tired, and I just couldn't focus (mainly because lack of sleep).... I felt like I was pushing through the WHOLE run! Which reminded me, how bad it can hurt!!! :) Also did core and upper body lifting/ work-out!

AM- Super fun run this morning! 1/2 mile warm up. with 4 miles for run (including kids club). Super fun kids club today! I had the chance to play red-rover with my coach and a fellow runner and broke through them! (But after I felt like I wanted to cry) Cause it knocked the air outta me.... But the run was super fun. I felt like I had great form, while I was being my SPEED DEMON stuff. I felt like going fast, so I went for it! Felt really good, felt like I was pushing, but controlled! The whole run, everyone is SLOW DOWN! But I wanted to go fast. It's bad for legs to go that fast this early....

Today was a better run for me. Both ways I am getting better (physically, and mentally). Well on the run I felt good, but again I feel like I am struggling... I just don't get it. But went 4 miles on the dirt loop. With 0.5 mile warm up. 1.5ish miles at kids club. Some of the kids can run SUPER FAST. Helped push Neilson boy, and HOLY crap (or cow pie) he can sprint fast! I was saying, "PUSH NOW!". And he went CRAZY. Going almost like 100,000,000,000,000,000 MPH!!!! But it was an amazing day for a run! Lifted with some core stuff.

This morning run was alot better than all the other runs this week. Because I just stayed mainly the game pace. And also listen to my coach!!! I didn't even feel like I was struggling, or having pain, or side aches or anything! Just felt great today. Went 5 miles. With 0.5 mile warm up as always... 5.5 total mileage. I did happen to come over why I felt soooo sluggish,tired, and struggling is because I would take off to fast of the start of the run. Later just go a little faster at half of the run makes me feel better. Lifted and core stuff.

This morning run was crazy! So much to talk about since it was 6 miles with 0.5 mile warm-up! First 6 miler of the entire season and year (for XC). Its going to be pretty hard going that again. But I can do it! Cause I want the challenge and I need the work/base miles! So why not? Might as well give it my all (even, if I die at mile 5).... Well I did feel good, but really super focused! It was like alright I got this.... And it wasn't really like that... But I lifted (Coach light weight, High REPS.) and did core stuff.

This morning Run was just great. We went 5 miles with 0.5 mile warm-up! I felt really great today. Felt focused. I could tell I was feeling good, because I was talking/making noises/ being me The WHOLE run. Which made me feel really really good about myself. Cause last 5 miler I was dying, but today was different for some reason. Felt good and steady. Which is how you win a RACE. Speaking of races. I am ready for a killer XC season. I'm ready to smash all of my P.R.s I am ready to win! I'm ready for kick in a race. I'm also ready to give it everything I have, every OUNCE LEFT I have.

Great running - now, what seems to be the bigger problem?

This morning was super great! Went up the dirt loop. Ran 2 laps. Both times went by fast for some reason. Usually they are super SLOW. But today then went by fast. And the first of the run, Hunter said, "something highly wrong" according to all of us. And he was like what? Anyways, The first loop was just great. I felt focused. I ran 4 miles with 0.5 mile warm-up then another for kids club. So 5.5 miles. Lifted and did core stuff. Which was really great. Well the running part.... Well it's my turn to tell my story. Once upon a time... There was a very mild, weird child name the so called "Big Red". He was on a soccer team, and he thought he was SOOOOOO  BEAST! But he wasn't. Later on in life. He joined the XC team and became a FURIOUS BEAST! And now from this day forward his name shall be known as "RED LEADER"!!!!! So that's your story folks.... Back to the run. I also started to get a little side cramp. But nothing to serious. Overall felt G-R-E-A-T!!! Mike this is my Super Techi. Story (S.T.S). So... I don't know how much stuff I can say... I'm losing ideas.... Well I will call it good.

4.25 miles today. This was a easier run, because I think my legs needed a little easy run for today. From all weeks hard/long runs. So I felt good about it. Just wanted to run today. Felt nice. Morning-Run was long... 7 miles with 0.5 mile warm-up. Morning was hotter than usual... But run went by slow, and painful. Every step for about 2 miles left hurt. But I was ready for work hard for my goals. And then I did work for it.

Afternoon- Run was 3 miles for doubles. So a total of 10.5 miles With weights. Man, am I gonna be sore.... But this is the farthest I have gone. So I am making great progress. Mental note to self: "Keep thinking". Well Felt focused. Afternoon was alot easier on the legs. Felt alot better even, though the heat was HOT (110 F.) ITS HOT!!!

So Good pacing. Already this early. And the ran was fast, and painful. Super Sore from yesterday's stuff. But I feel great now! Kids club was great! Kids were more agree able this time! YEAH! This morning run was great! It was a lot cooler, than Monday, and Tuesday. Felt cooler atleast to me. And I went 6 miles with 0.5 mile warm up. Felt focused. These longer runs are getting easier for some reason. But I will like it.But 6 isn't that far yet. I could go anywhere from 10-13 miles!! DUN DUN DUN!!!! But I will find out later in the season. And the run was great. I felt great the whole time! Lifted with work stuff.

Morning- This morning was alright.... I was tired, sore, and just thumbs down... But went 4 miles with striders. With 0.5 mile warm up. Felt goodish. I have felt better, but oh well. My form felt great. While we were doing striders coach said something... And I was like what??? And he said, "What up Red!". And I was like ok? But yeah....

Afternoon- This run was 3 miles. Super HOT HOT!!!! Felt really sluggish, tired, and really sore. But I pushed through. And by the end of the run. I was just dead. Did weights after, felt great! After I did some stuff.

Note: Its Raining!!!!!! Dropped to 70 degrees!!!!! In the MIDDLE OF SUMMER!!!! Around 7:30-8:10 (P.M.). Felt GREAT!!! Don't get that... It's 104 in the middle of the day. And 70 at night...

Run was great! Wake up, and went running with David. He is a STRONG runner. He will be super great this year and years to come! He wants it! You can tell just how hard he works for it! But went 5 miles. Mabey a little over 5. But was a great run. David and I talked (mostly me) about racing, and this season to come! Our FIRST RACE is in 3 WEEKS! That is scary. Like more scary than me! I am ready for a GREAT season. Just ready to FORCE myself to go, even when times that I wanna HURL out my guts! Just kick it the Whole RACE! Pass people one by one! Morning- This morning I went 8 miles with 0.5 mile warm up! That is the farthest I have gone ALL year. For XC. It was good for the first half and then once we hit mile 4ish. We hit a red light (was sooooooo glad!!!). And got to rest for 30 seconds. But I felt like I was going to hurl... It was not pretty. And glad Wes was there, because he just kept telling me to go, and we were almost there! So thanks Wes for keeping me going! Usually I don't have runs like that, but today was just bad...

Afternoon- Well afternoon run was 3 miles... Stomach cramped up the WHOLE RUN! It was bad. Slowed down a little by the pack, because I was going to hurl again, felt like it! That's 2 runs in a row! It was way cooler, but super humid!

Morning- This morning we went 4 miles! Up to the dirt trail, and we were pacing, which was really like tempo. But our first mile was 6:39, and 6:15ish. So that felt really good to just get the legs moving. Which is the first time, since track really. And after that I just felt good about myself. And wanted to just go race! I was in the racing mode! Just wanted to run fast! Get the legs moving again! Kids club was great. Only 3 coaches this time, and it was different, because they were all boy coaches. And usually the girls like girl coaches. But oh well... They say,"I'm weird!"...... Well thats just great! But run was great. I will throw another mile in with kids club. With 0.5 mile warm up.

Afternoon- Afternoon run. Ran at night. Was good I guess, cause I am telling the future. 3 miles. I am lazily.... So I am posting now, and will do it later on tonight.... But was good I guess?

Morning- Morning ran 6 miles total, but had hills and farlecks. 3x 1 minutes, and 4x 30 seconds. The hill was beast (fire station), but my beastiness beat its beasty stuff. So I now know I can push through beast things! I was doing super good, until Danny came flying past me on the last one.... Holy cow pie! I was like where in the world did that come from?!?!? It must be his race powers. If you know what I mean! Looped it around to make 6 on telegraph! And everyone, and I mean everyone was just dead, and tired.... Then we were almost done, and this dog with some odd disease tried to kill us! It ate Wes's leg!!!! Almost got me, but I ran in front of Wes so it would get him! (Sorry Wes).... But good run!

Afternoon- 3 miles in the afternoon. It was alright. But good run.

Morning- This run was super tiring, because David, and I woke up at 4:45 in the morning to go running! And yes A.M..... It was a different experience.... But we did some hills up at fire station hill again. But I wasn't able to push as hard as last wednesday... Because of many reasons.... First I was tired, and second I had no know really to push me. Or to pace with them... Soo whatever. But I was very close to where I was last time. So it was all good. I was sweating like a beast! Same as usual morning runs! :) Even at 4:45 in the morning it was still hot (my body tempature.). The tempature outside was just great! Felt great. Also the run was pretty good. We should start having practice at 5 a.m. in the morning! I would go for it! Lifted with core stuff.

Morning- This morning run at camp was crazy! My brain and body were all over the place. Went 10 miles!!!! Farthest I have ever gone! Beast mode! With all the hills, and the altitude just made things worse, plus we were going FAST! First 2 miles felt like I went 8 already... But then after about 4ish. I started to feel better, and by the time I got to 6,7, and finishing 8 I just felt great! I was leading the pack, while talking to josh! When can I ever do that? Almost Never!!!  And last 2 miles just hurt like really super bad! And this was a great experience for me, because I have never done that. And I really thought it would be super hard, like almost impossible. But I now know that I can do that! So I am a beast!

afternoon- 3 miles. Still difficult, because of the altitude, and hills. But it was not bad.

Morning- Morning run was really great! I had a pretty good run. 4 miles!!! I decide to run A LOT SLOWER, than usual. Because my legs were tired, and so was I. And I just didn't want to deal with thinking about it. So I just ran. Didn't think.... But like on the 10 miler. I was using my brain more than my legs! Which is a lot for me, because I had to PUMP my brain like a beast! More control I have, the better I am. The more I can think, the more I can run! So good run!

Morning- This morning run was pretty hard! I ran 8 miles with 0.5 mile warm up, and the last 2 miles were tempo! And This didn't really feel like a 8 miler, which means I can easily run 8 miles, considering I ran 10 the other day! We started tempo with 2 miles left. Casey was pretty much pacing the whole thing, but I was right with him most of the time. And our splits were 6:00, and 6:25? minutes! Which felt great (I was going my last years pace)!!!! Which means I have improved like crazy! I hope people know that, if not then they are in a world of surprise! This was really a great run! Lifted with core stuff.

Morning- Run was good. 4 miles with striders with 0.5 mile warm up. The kids race was fun to watch. Paced some of them. Did 2 laps. So another mile. So of them can run really really fast! I was surprised how fast some of them could go! But we went up to the dirt trail, and ran 2 laps. Pace was 6:47, and 6:37, not bad... Considering I have not ran in like 2 days.... Lifted with core stuff.

Afternoon- 3 miles. Felt nice and easy. Went nice and easy. Legs are feeling a little raw. Can't wait till I get them rolling again!

Morning- This morning was great! Level of energy was pretty good! Ran 6.75 miles with 0.5 mile warm up. And also did a hill work-out, which was challenging because the hills were beast. And we did 3x30 seconds, and 6x1 minutes. So pretty hard set. 30's were really strong, and solid (I thought). And then the 1 minutes were all pretty consistent. First 2 were a little short of all the rest. Just getting to warm-up on those. And then 3, and 4 were really good. Pushing the pace. And then 5, and 6 were really strong, and 5 was about the same as 3, in' 4. And 6 was really pushing the pace,beyond the whole work-out. After that we went and did 3 miles on grass to get the rest of the mileage, and lifted with core stuff.

Afternoon- nice easy 3 miler. Not too bad. Was a little cooler at the evening time, but not by much... Was still nice tho. Was do able... Felt sore...

Morning- This morning I ran 10 miles! It was crazy! With 0.5 mile warm up. The 10 miler had 3 mile tempo. And I do not know the splits, but they were all 6:30 or under. The first 5 miles were good, and then at 6 I started to struggle. But after the tempo I just pushed through! Hunter ran like a beast! Most of the other guys looked like they were struggling like me... But Jason and I pushed each other. And made me feel good at the end of the run! But lifted a little. And rolled, and stretched.

Afternoon- 3 miles! Felt great. A little hot, but not too bad. My arch started to hurt really bad, and my like lower inner side of my calve.... Rolled my arch, and helped but still hurts and same with calve...

Morning- Morning run was alright... Nice and easy 5 miles with striders, and 0.5 mile warm up. Felt good. Focused on form.

Race (afternoon)- 3 miles warm up. And 3 mile race, with 1 mile cool. The race was good. I was super nervous. But after they fired the gun. I was like I can do this. I really didn't know what to expect. So I was running what my legs told me.... So really I didn't really race. But just raced by my legs? And I wasn't really thinking mentally, because it was really different racing with a different group. And the first mile went by super fast. And then the 2nd was alright. But the slowest I think. I was going soooo slow.... And then the last lap was alright. Felt goodish... I guess. Coach said, "Go Red! Make it RED LEADER TIME!" I was alright. So Wes and I picked up the pace. And by the time we got to the track. I started to kinda sprint, but last 100 Abel, and comes. And that was a really BIG SHOCK! I was like what?!?!? And then last 25 Nick Hill shows up! And I was like what the?!?! And then we finished within 2 seconds. So nice pack. (Abel,Wes,Nick, and I). So nice pack. We did good as a team. A lot of P.Rs. And then I just didn't really race. I didn't know what to expect. I was feeling sickish the last part, and really sluggish. And I remembered like coach say something like this,"Red you slow down, and jog!!!" And I was thinking that finishing the 2nd lap.... I honestly do not know what I was thinking. But I just need to step it up! Oh well that's all I have to say. And I guess overall I did alright. Life moves on. Whatever.... My legs are NEW to this much mileage... But I know I need more brain power...

So yeah! Life is getting back into gear, after some nice Sea World stuff! I feel like I am in racing shape again!

Morning- This was great! And an amazing experience! I have learned sooo much with in the last 2 races, and practices! I wanna keep it up! I learned that I don't want to think about the race really. And just race when the time comes. Just have fun the day before and time, before the race. And not really focus on it! It really helps. Helps with my nervousness. And plus I was really relaxed at the starting line! I was talking to mike and I was like should I be this relaxed? And he said, "yeah!". So my heart was not even beating (well for blood flow!). But like that relaxed! I don't know why, but I loved it! It just came to me this time! I did warm up. Didn't really focus that much. But when the time came I did! And at the line just a little, before they started the race. I figured out where I was going to go, and how fast to start out! And I didn't really have any major goals in mind, but I wanted atleast top 15! Which I did accomplish! I also broke the race down into little pieces, so I had accomplishments that added up to be a great out come! And I also realized that, if I just stay chilled, and relaxed. I just have a good race! Speaking of the actual race! I took out somewhat with the front pack. And I just went with it! Went up the dirt part, and then up the hill. I promised myself I would not think of the race whole, but in little signs, corners, and other parts of the course. I found myself doing a lot better doing that, than thinking of 2 miles to go! I love to break up the race! It's soo fun! Keeps my mind occupied, and keeps other thoughts out. Like I can't do this, or why am I doing this! But I know the answer for all of those! I just need to push through the pain, and not settle! I felt like a CHAMP, after the race. I loved that feeling! I felt really accomplished, and I was really happy with my place, and time! But there is A TON of WORK to be done! Just need to give it time! This is a really long entry........... But just, before the race. I was like "No Pain, No Gain!" It's totally true! Because if your not hurting than you have nothing to gain! But if you are, then you are on your way to victory! And the first loop of the race was really great! And about 1/2 mile into the race... Guess what happened!?!?!? Your right! Abel Shows up! And I was like not this time! So we were pushing each other like beasts! I dared not to fall off, and he didn't either you could tell! Cause I ran with him the ENTIRE WAY! Thanks for pushing me soo hard ABEL! You are a beast! He would push the pace, and the I would back off, but stick right behind him. Then we would switch. And by the 2nd loop. Abel started to struggle! And I was like don't you dare pull off now!!! ABEL lets pick it up a notch! And we started flying! (really we did!). We grew wings! And we started to fly into the sky! Just kidding, but we were going fast! And it felt great! Hurt like a beast, and felt like a beast doing it! So next time, I am going even harder! I decided to go for it! And about the last 400 meters Abel picked it up a ton! And he started to loose me... And I was like nope not this time! Sorry buddy! And I went all out! He thought he had me! At the last 2ish meters I used the Fire, redness in my blood, and past him! Like 0.28 seconds! I was sooo happy I beat you ABEL! MUAHAHA!!! I felt like a champ! But You did great ABEL! Way to be beast! You were pushing me as much I was pushing you! You did really great! Thanks for pushing like a beast! And we won the invitational, but thunder boys were not racing their best.... But never the less! It is time for work like no other! I am ready for a really great season! And it's just starting!

RACE REPORT-----

So I was tired, kinda, not really... I had a really negative dream last night... And I did not like it at all! But I thought to myself.... I can make my life whatever I want! So I thought of good things! And anyways.... We get to SUU. And the J.V. girls raced, and then the J.V. boys (which they kicked some other runner butt!). Like 6 IN THE TOP 10!!! But then the Varsity girls ran, and did well. But then it was my turn! And to be honest... I wanted to think negative... So I just turned off my brain! And just let my body control me! :) That explains all the yelling, screaming, and craziness! Sorry girls... I was loud.... But that's me.... And so we do warm-up. And we get to the starting line. And I just thought to myself. Just watching the J.V. boys race, that is how I will race, but faster! And so I started to get nervous. And I just turned off my brain... And by the time I know it! We are getting ready to start, BAM! The gun goes off! And I decided to go out with the frontish pack. And then make my way up. But through out the race. It went by super, super fast! And I just thought I would burn out at like mile 2 or something, and I didn't till 2.5 miles! So I am getting there! And the first mile was just fast, not speed wise, but time... Make sense? But yeah. Going up the back stretch on the last lap.... I just struggled like a beast! And I settled a lot! And I mean a lot! But I started to push the pace, and then died off... So I tried to do it again! And went a little longer... And then the 3rd and final time I go! And Jason (P.J.) Starts to come up.... And I was like yes! Someone to push me! So we go! And I honestly forgot how bad running hurts... Like racing, not the usual pain, but like your heart is pumping so hard you can't match its thumping! I was hurting like B-E-A-S-T. Or like a REAL runner! For once in my life! I actually really felt real intent pain! Like I wanted to cry almost! But I just kept telling myself GOGOGOOGo! So I go and go! And this is a really long entire again..... But Last 250 meters. I started to pick up the pace a lot. And then 150ish Jason yells, "NACHOOOOOOOO!!!!".............................................. And guess what happened! He takes off like a beast! And I attempting yelling too, but it was more like a groan.... But I decided to match his pace, and even turn it into a freshmen race!!!!! And there we go! I couldn't decide to go fists, or straight hand. So I go straight hand. Like an arrow. And just pumping my arms as fast as I can! And last 50 I start to get Jason, but by the finish line I got him! I always have a good kick! Last 100 actually.... If I had a good kick, then I would pass 5 guys the end of every race.... But I am learning! :) I felt like I ran hard, but sad, and just confused! After the race.... So I figured what the heck! Not too shabby, and not too good.... So I just moved on with it! And we took 2nd overall.... Without Mike, and Colton! Once they are back in prime shape (mainly Colton) DH is in a world of hurt in their THUNDER PANTS! MUAHAHA!!!! I feel like a champ saying that! BY-RUN That one was for you! And I learned from this race! I need to pack it in more, and go for the lead pack! Not the second pack.... But there is work to be done! Had a PERFECT week of hard work! Went to every morning, and every afternoon! Things are starting to turn out the way I want them too! I am getting results that I want! From last week to this week. I have improved a TON! But I am proud how hard I ran.1 mile cool down.

Morning- 3 miles. Nice and easy. Felt a little tight from the race... But was a good run. The boys were talking a lot.

afternoon- 7 miles with striders! And 0.5 mile warm up. It wasn't really that bad. But it was sooo HOT!!!! I was dying........... And then we stopped at Jason's place, and got some water there. And just watered us down! Like I was like yeah! I felt really good having that water go down my throat!!! I was soooo HOT HOT HOT HOT!!!! I just wanted to just die right there on the street.... Felt a little sluggish.... But life moves on.

Morning- 3 miles. Felt great! Was super sore from plyos, and weights. But I need to stretch a lot more.... I just need to stretch, and roll like a beast! I am getting my sleep schedule down, which is good. I try to get at least 8 hours every night. And every night I get closer to my goal! 

Afternoon- 2 miles warm up/ 2 miles cool down. With regular 0.5 mile warm up. Did 6x1,000's. The first 3 were really great, but then the 4th I just died off bad. I have no idea why!!! But I honestly think it was fear like coach said. Going into the work-out I felt great, and just ready to run some killer repeats... But then when I started to slow down on the 4th. I could tell so easily that I was slowing down a lot. And I tried telling myself to go faster, but it was like my legs were numb, or would not work with my brain.... But I think it was my stride. I heard Casey, and Mike talking something about stride. And it felt great? But I will have to work on that! But splits were 3:06, 3:02, 3:05, and 3:15 (really slow)..., 3:00 (after that speech coach gave us) I started to get rolling! And 6th and final was a 3:05! So all were good,but the 4th one. And coach wanted me around 3:05 on ALL of them. But I will work on that!

Morning- 3 miles. Really sore again....

Afternoon- 4 miles total with warm/cool. 0.5 mile usual warm-up. Had 4x2 minutes. And then 5x400's. And the 2 minutes were really packed in, and strong I would say. But the 400's were alright.... The first one was bad. But 2-4 was really great! And the 5th I was just outta it mentally. But I watched this XC video. And it said, "This is where stretching happens, this is where pain happens, this is were agony happens, this is where a lot of miles pay off!" It was pretty sweet. Talks about how bad you want it, and it's up to you! Some teams top 2 runners were injured and out for the season... But they said, "all it takes is all you got!" And that is like a great quote! I am really starting to realize what running is really about! How bad do I want it?!?!!??!?! YOU WILL SEE NEXT RACE!

Morning- 3 miles. Felt great. Ok first of all this run was out of hand! The boys were yelling their faces off like wild animals! They had really no idea what they were doing... They gave themselves the biggest pep talk ever know to man! Kept repeating the same thing over and over.... 

 P.S. They were not the ones doing it.... I was me!!!! MUAHAHAHA!!!! And mostly all of them wanted to punch me in the face!!! MUAHAHAH! And I was actually quiet for 0.5 miles!!!! NEW RECORD!!!!

Afternoon- This afternoon was pretty great! A little hot, but not as bad as other days. 5 miles with striders. Felt pretty focused. 6 miles total with 0.5 mile warm up. I am really to start realizing a lot of things... For one everyone is starting to ignore me in a respectful way, or they just find me EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!!!! But hey its me! I am trying to mellow out... I am for sure going to mellow out tomorrow! But keep the great energy!

Morning- 3 miles with 4x200's. Felt nice.

Afternoon- Did my first shift of the run-a-thon. Did 4 miles. And then did 8 miler 30 minute tempo! I started out really slow, because the boys left without me! :( But when they flipped I saw them at started to go back with them. And during the tempo Hunter, Josh, Braden, and I. Had a great pace going! After that I was just dead.... And once the run-a-thon got going I ran another 3 my next shift..... So within 24 hours I ran 19 mile!!!!!!!!!!

Morning- Had a nice 5 miler with the boys. They are really stepping it up! And so am I! I can't wait till really make a move in race, and take it home! Did some nice old 4x200's... Felt quick. Braden, and Abel wanted to go fast... So they went. I was like ok..... But anyways. Felt good. Did plyos. I am getting better at them every time! 

Afternoon- 0.5 mile run with 7 mile bike ride.... The back of the heel was killing... I don't know why. It felt fine this morning, but it was like every strider/step it felt like it was pulling!!!! I was hurting really bad. So I decided to let it rest. And just go on a little ride on my bike... And the same place started hurting during the run-a-thon.... I don't know what is up... But it is not good... Have a race tomorrow! :) Hope it doesn't affect my racing...

Morning- This morning run. I only went 1 mile do to some heel problems.... And I didn't really think I would race....

Afternoon- 2ish mile warm up. I just took out in the front pack. And we were going super slow.... And later a pack of 4 Pine View. Moved in (Abel, Braden, Colton, and I)! Nice pack. I kept saying, "good job to keep the boys moving!" Even some of them started to fall off... But I told them not too... And anyways. The last 600-800 meters. I felt the BEST I have ever felt in a race like this before. And I thought we had 1 more loop to go... So I thought I will make my move next loop.... And by the time I know its our last... I was too late.... But I had to make a choice.... I had a choice to make.... I read a article that said," Don't use woulda, shoulda, coulda....." So I should just not say that and just race... But it was a good race. I was really disappointed when I found out that we had our last loop... But I would have gone for it big time... I could have easily gotten 4th overall..... But whatever. Good job PACK!

Morning- 3 miles. My achilles (back of heel) had a lot of progress! :) Which is good. Hurt a lot less today! When I run it loosening up for some reason, and hurts less. Which I like! :) Felt good to run! 

Afternoon- Happy that the heel didn't hurt. Felt great today! But ran 5 miles with striders, and 0.5 mile warm up as usual. But had weights after. I am getting RIPPED! With my nice biceps! MUAHAHAH!!! Had a good day today... Didn't treat the heel as good as yesterday.... But happy to race a MURRAY!

Afternoon- 5 miles with 4x200's. With 0.5 mile warm up. Ok my arch was killing today.... I hated it. And the heel was alright, but it hurt a little thanks to not treating it well last night.... I treated it, but not as much as I should.... But I am working on it! Day by day! The 200's were just slow.... Like not too slow. But I just didn't want to kill them, because I thought my arch was going to pop out of place!!!! But roll, ice, stretch, heat, compression, and elevation. :)

This race was crazy! It was packed!!! I was really negative after that race... But hey it was an alright race, and I will just build on it! And I just gotta race like the whole race. I have been racing 1 mile, then 1.5, then 2 miles! Now I just need 3 miles!!! And I am racing, not a fast pace that hurts... I am RACING!!! Just need to get past that decision thought. Just do it! The race was packed the entire race. I kept passing people about till 1/4 mile left.... Passed a few, but not much. And I just kept getting pushed the ENTIRE RACE! I was getting mad, so up the dirt hill... This kid... He must have been 210 pounds... Just huge, like 6"5".... Have no idea how he was up there... But ALL and I mean ALL of the kids were jogging up the hill... I was like ok enough of this! I just push my way up. And that kid got in my way! So I PUSHED HIM, and he kinda tripped, And I hurdled HIM!!! MUAHAHAH!!!! Teach you to get in my way! The race was a really great experience! :) Just gotta close that gap between the next pack. Need to step it up more! I didn't really consider the race "A RACE"... Because it was a fast pace that hurts, not racing.............................................. But NEVER THE LESS I will redeem myself! Need to stop talking crap... And start doing CRAP!!! MUAHAHA! Just start killing it, start to destroy our enemies, and I mean ALL OF THEM! Just crush them, make them think they shouldn't even be here! That they should not even consider racing me!!! Time to start working even harder! SUCK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will always hurt, no matter what! So might as well make it HURT EVEN MORE!!!! Make your self puking at mile 2! And keep running as your PUKING!!! MUAHAHA!!! Morning- I attempted to run this morning, and only got like 0.25 maybe..... But Man, my achilles was just killing today.... Take a few days off... See if it gets better, if not! Well I am already P.O. (You know)!!!!!! I am just mad, because I started to really see improvement, hard work paying off, and running my guts out, and learning from that! And now I just get injured.... It's pretty stupid, if you ask me.................... But just take care of it... Roll, stretch it, ice/heat it, compression. Yeah I know the list! :) But hey.... I will be back for sure, before Nebo! And that is all I need to redeem my title, and even go harder! XC 4 EVER!

Update on the achilles- 

Achilles is feeling a little better, but improvement on pain is gone down a lot! Which is good! Going up, and down stairs would kill Monday... And now it hurts only a little! Feels better. Gotta keep icing, healing, and taking care of it! :)

Did a little weight lifting with core stuff! Also played a little dodge ball! Didn't hurt too bad, but still hurt to run.................... But that will just set me back a little.... Also did some walking to see, if achilles still hurts. And it hurts less. But it is recovering!

Afternoon- After doing the manger stuff. I actually decided to go on a bike ride! So I went about for 45 minutes. And my guess went 15 miles! Not shabby... I could not breath the first 20 minutes............ I felt soooo out of shape..... Because I have not done anything for the past 5 days... But try it again tomorrow! Did core stuff with weights/work-out. Felt great! Achilles is really healing up. And as far as pain level it hurts a lot less! I went down the stairs (like actually walked normal!), and it didn't HURT!!!!! YEAH which is really good. Because last week I would have to walk weird, and it would kill. But now it feels a lot better. Keep healing it! :)

Afternoon- I was riding a excercise bike, while the boys did their work-out on the track. I honestly felt like the coach today, because there was no one really in charge... So I figured I will! >:) And found the boys listening to me!!! MUAHAHA! But biked for 40 minutes. Went like 12.5 miles. Felt good to do something! Achilles is feeling a lot better!

Morning- Went out about 9:30ish. And it was really nice outside! Went about 15ish miles on my bike! Felt great! Was gone for about 50 minutes! And I honestly gave myself the biggest pep talk you can ever thing of!!! (EVEN that one morning I kept talking, and talking about pep talks)! That's how much! I think I got the WHOLE picture of XC! It's not just about winning, or running fast.... It's about doing every run throughout the season, working your butt off every single run! Running your guts out in work-outs. And being dedicated, AND always pushing through EVERYTHING! It's really about feeling that pain, that agony! Feeling that which, others cannot! It's about surviving and pushing through-out the pain, and agony! How bad do you want it?!?!?!?! It's a serious question! HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?!?!?!?!? Tell yourself that!!! And ask yourself that!!!!!! I got thinking on this bike ride. Why am I doing this?!?! You KNOW WHY! Cause I want it! Cause I wanna stay in shape for XC! Once this stupid injury goes by! Guess what! I am coming back! Stronger, better, faster, and MOST importantly stronger and greater mental power! Its about how bad you want it! It's really about finishing the race no matter what the out comes are! Saying, "That you did your best! You went to every run! You kept working through-out the season!" Another thought came to mind! When the time comes, "you will have to answer that call!" Either it is next race, or hopefully region, and really answering that call at state! And if you make it that far! Well all be danged! You are going to REGIONALS! 

Another thought- Can you say at the end of this season you have worked your trash off! And you did your best! May not have performed your best at races, and work-outs... But as a whole can you say that you did your best??? Can you ask yourself that you went to every SINGLE morning run, and every afternoon run! I have only missed 3 runs total in the ENTIRE summer including up to the end of August! Morning, and afternoon! And 1, because of illness, other is because I was held in San Diego (gangs, people, some creepers) etc.... And 1 week do to injury.... But just thinking. I thought of all the work-outs. Bounding, hills, fartleks, weights, plyos, speed work-outs, 1000's, races, mileage runs, and more stuff! That's a lot for this one race that is 3 miles long. All these miles for this one race. All this work for 1 single race.... But why? First of all! It goes back! How bad do you want it?!?! Yup.....  That is all my thoughts this morning. 

 Oh one more..... I kept telling myself," I will survive, I will survive!" I don't know what it means, but it kept me going! Like going fast, and pushing up hills that were 8% grade..... So you tell me it doesn't work! GO AHEAD! GOES IT DOES!!! MUAHAHA!

Afternoon- So this run was good. Just thinking about how mad I am, cause I am not running varsity for one race................. But on the run I just kept complaining/ragging my anger, and frustratation (spell check) at David. And he just listened, which was cool! Because everyone else would be like "MATT JUST SHUT UP!" Or I don't wanna hear it...... But I got thinking.... At least I can run! And at least I can run without hurting, and my achilles doesn't hurt! Cause last week I could not, even walk..... But now! I just have to say I am truly grateful that my body/achilles is letting me run without pain! Achilles felt great again, but I can still feel it there... But ice it again! :)

Achilles didn't hurt the 3 or the sprints! :) I really wanted to get some quick turnover, and too be honest I just want to get back where I was, and come back even stronger! That's the PLAN! Just destroy! I really pushed through the 200's.... First 1 was a little fast, but oh well.... Times were 30,33,33, and 33! So pretty equal. Last one I felt that pain again! Like the internal agony! Like racing pain! Like running hard pain! I am ready for the race this weekend!!!!!!! I am going for it! NO REGRETS!

This race was great! A super great experience! I just gotta get back in speed work-outs, and long runs. And I will be back to my varsity spot! Running with the J.V. guys made me look at it from a different view.... With the varsity boys it's like wow... These guys are fast.... Same with the J.V.!!!! But it isn't the same. Varsity feels like you have to earn it! And it's true! But the J.V. are the future Varsity! So I guess it balances out... But his race a great! I felt great too! 5th overall and just 2nd on the team.... Kyler got me by 0.6 seconds... Which happens to me every race, just someone on the team... But great for them! Race felt great! Took me about 1 mile to get going, but when I got done with 1 mile I was going then! And about 0.5 mile left I started to struggle a little, but I kept going! :) And this kid from some school kept trying to pass me... And I finally said,"Ok kid your not beating me! And your not better than me!!!" So I finally stick on his shoulder, and he starts to freak out and speeds up! So I knew then to go! And I sped up a lot faster than him! And held him for about 5 seconds. Then he speeds up again.... So 1 more time I try it. And I finally broke him! I knew it! I knew this time I would break him! And I did! He just could not keep up! And I am starting to realize this whole breaking someone! DH did that too me at SUU.... I remember about 1 mile in like there top 5 just pack it in and just speed by! And it broke me.... I should have responded! But at cedar, or Region I am! Either way I am going to respond with force, or speed (maybe a fist in the leg) Just kidding.... But for reals! But with speed! I am going to stick right on their shoulder, and break them! Let them be destroyed for once! It's time to change! This is the time for me! I am going for it! I DARE TO DARE!!!! MUAHAHA! I am going to break them! Either I throw-up right on them! Or after the race! I am going too!!!! I am promising myself now!!!

Afternoon- 8 miles total. And 4x30 seconds hard! And 3x800's and 3x1,000's with indian runs! So first speed work-out in like 2 weeks! Felt great! Nick was really struggling on his last one (2nd one for me). And he finished it like a beast! We were all stuggling, but Nick was like falling off... Race Report:

This race was sweet! A HUGE confidence builder! Now I Know I can go this fast, and still keep us the pace! Felt great, and was ready for the race! But mentally I was just having a breakdown the entire race... But physically I felt great, which is a great sign! I just need to find the mental power, because I know I have it! I just need to active it, and use it! Then I will be UNSTOPPABLE! And I will be able to go into real BEAST MODE!!! MUAHAHA!!! But great race! After mile 1, and starting 2 Paul was starting to pass me, and he is just like sprinting up this hill. And I thought he was just trying to push up the hill, but he was going! He was daring! And I tryed to push up with him. But my form was just too lousy..... I need to work on that. Like after mile 2.... My form just goes down the gutter.... But I will work on it! Just stay focused, and learn from this! Great race overall! We won the J.V. boys race with 35 points! Which is really great! Considering we got 34 at wastach! So life is great! Keep getting more faster, and get more mental power! Once I got that down I will really be at my prime for racing! So great job Pine View! Keep working it up! And who knows we could take state! I will do my best to help! I will also be running more killer placings, and times! So here I come! There is a lot of positive to this race, and some negative! But I am going to focuse on the POSITIVE! So I can be ready for next race!

Morning- Wake up! And felt great! Went at 6:00 A.M.! Felt great to run! Ran 7 miles total! Felt nice, but a little sore from the race! Stretched great! So I am ready to roll Monday! Just keep working hard! And stay focused! Had a nice kick at the end! Just thought "what the heck!" It won't hurt to push the pace! So I kicked and just kept going faster, and faster, and FASTER!!! I was really surprised how fast I was going up hill! Felt great!

Afternoon- 3 miles with 4xhills stadium sprints (125 meters). And 4x100's! With 0.5 mile warm up as normal! Felt great the entire time! This run was fun! Had a little tempo in with Archy, because he wanted to go fast! So I went for like 0.5 mile!

Morning- Nice and easy 3. Felt great!

Afternoon- 4 miles with 4x200's! Felt great! With 0.5 mile warm up as usual! But the 200's I ran a 31,32,32, and 32! So pretty consistent! And usually I run around a 33ish... But I am getting faster, which is a great sign! Felt great on this run! The sandburg's Monster started to attack Nick, Paul, Jake, and Red Follower (Andrew).... And I had to save them so I went and started to hit the dang thing whatever it was! It was pretty scary!!! I looked like a dead cat with shark teeth, and almost bit Nick... But I finally kicked it in the ribs, or it's stomach, and howled (which really hurt your ears). But why am I telling this story? Because my shirt was ripped to pieces.... Everyone was like what happened to your shirt? And I told them this! Other guys like Hobbs, and Josh did not experience the event, but they kinda believed the boys, and I! But we they did believe most of it!

Morning- 3 miles! Felt great!

Race Report- This race I felt really great! This race wasn't my best, but was a great one! I kept going, and going! I really wanted to do well! I started focusing the night before, and the entire day! And I was ready! Mentally this was a HUGE thing for me! And it was a great experience! I now know how to kick right! I start speeding up the last 800 meters, and I just pass, and pass people! I just keep speeding up, and people start slowing down! I first pass Reed, and then Kyler, and then Hobbs! Just kept going, but Hobbs got me at the end! :( But I now know how to race! MUAHAHAH! This race was my breakthrough mentally! I now have the mental power I need, and want! Even physically I have always had it! It's just the mental part that I lacked! But now I just need to activate it, and wonders will happen! Great race experience once again! I honestly think people look up to me as like a goal to beat.... I don't know why! But it makes we really think! If they are going to do that! I might as well not make it HAPPEN (sorry Nick!)!!!!!! But I am going to aim for the lead! That's it! Mental power rocks! I am just sick of this crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just only going half of it!!!! It's time to change!

Morning- Work out!!! Felt amazing, but one of the hardest work outs I have ever done this entire season! 2x1 mile T. pace, 1x1,000 T pace and 2x400's, and 4x200's! Felt great on all of them! Miles were 5:30, and 5:25. 1000 was fast and nice. Not sure on time. The 400's were really fast and quick. They were 1:07, and about 1:06. And the 200's were 33,33,33,30! Really nice work out! Felt great! But I had a killer blister on my toe, which slowed me down a little, but I just kept going because I was in a lot of pain anyways, and more pain just wanted me to go faster! MUAHAH! Great work out!

Afternoon- 3 miles easy. Like really easy. It was like 8:30 pace, maybe not even that.... But usual 0.5 mile warm up. Felt great to run short mileage after school for a change! :)

Morning- Volunteered for the marathon. Ran early in the morning about 8:10 A.M. Felt great to run! Nice temps. And we ran on the trail next to the course. And we started a few fartleks get the legs kicking a little. And ran towards mile marker 19 (ours was 22). Felt great! There was some killer hills, but we pushed through. And just watching some of the top 5 marathoners was awesome! Like actually watching them run! When I was running! Hunter and I also tried to match their pace, all I can say is not a great idea..... Cause they were going about 5:30's..... Like my race pace... So we went about 0.75 of a mile. And it was cool watching their form, and their speed. And I wanted to get back, before coach came by. And I could just tell he was coming soon. So I sped up a little. And like 3 minutes later. He comes by, and I was sooo excited to see him running a marathon! Cause he is a beast everyone! Seeing his form (knee drive, Tall and strong, on the toes). Just perfect form. And he was going fast! I was like he is gaining! Great job coach! Had some nice fartleks on the run. Went 6 miles. But a little over.

Morning- Really focused on region. All I thought about.

Afternoon- During school. I just could not get region off my mind! Cause I forced myself to keep focusing on region!

Race Report- This was far by the most and best race I have had this entire season! I felt really confident going into the race! I told myself I was going to go BEAST MODE start-middle-finish! I started out in the top 3. And I passed some Canyon View kid. And I just kept going. And I just wanted it this time! I know I wanted it, because I was the most hungry for victory! Felt great positioning myself in this race. After the first loop. I promised myself I would take the lead. So I did and passed this Cedar kid. And then I told myself "I gotta go now!" So I go! It all started from there! The Big loop! Every stride, every running step I took with confidence! I went with it! Just trusting it! I wanted to hold that lead, and make a gap! I didn't care who it was! I was doing it! Just do it! I told myself! And I kept repeating this in my head. I can give more! I can give more! Can I give more!?!?! The answer is always yes! Just kept speeding up every time. I told myself this! And I could tell I was making a gap, because of the cheering. And I could tell the pack behind was really close. So I speed up even more! Just trusting it! And finishing the large loop. I just told myself to keep it going. And hold that lead! And that is when it started even more! The DH kid started closing that gap every stride. And I told myself this is the time! Just thinking about the track out that I did like last week. Coach talked about I have worked this hard for this much (80%)! And why stop now?!? Why work this hard, and just quit?!? There is no sense in doing it! So I asked myself again! Can I give more?!? Just kept telling myself! Yes! YES! YES!!!! Going up the hill, the back stretch. I could tell the DH kid was really close. I thought I was done, but I kept believing! I didn't worry this time about burning out. That was what I did every race. Was about burning out. And I didn't worry about! I just kept going! I finally give it a push up the hill. On the medium, third, and final loop. And on the turn. I looked back, which I should have not done, but I did and he was right there!!! I wanted that win! I have come this far! Why quit now?!?!? Can I give more?!??! YES! I Always can! I tell myself one last time! Can I give EVEN more?!?!?! And yes I do! I started my real kick, and push after turn. And I was just speeding up every stride as coach told me. And about 300 meters left. The DH coach. Coach Fielding starts telling Micah (the DH kid behind me). That he broke me! And that I was looking back (And I was), but he kept bringing me down, and him up.... And he is saying this as I pass him! And I just start to SMILE! Why would I be smiling with 200 meters left in a race?!!? When I am most in pain! Because I just wanted to show him that I was not broke! I was the one who broke him! And coach fielding was like,"Who is this kid!!?!?" Who Smiles in a race?!?! And I just start giving it all!!! From that point forward! I just give it everything left! All out! Every last ounce of juice left in me! And I start sprinting passing coach Fielding, and the DH kid tries to match my pace! So I go even harder!!!! I kept looking back out of the corner of my eye... I should not have... But I learned from this experience not to do that! I have had too many experiences losing the win! I was sick of it! For one time! I win! I am sick of losing sprints! So I go EVEN harder! Just keep digging! And Just keep PUSHING! MORE AND MORE! And by the end of the race I beat him by 1 second. I can say," I gave this race every single ounce of juice, every mental drop, every physical drop, every wall broken down!" I can say," I did my best, I wanted real results! I wanted real pain! I wanted the win! I was the most hungry person THERE!!! Even though I won barely... I still was the most hungry! The most digging! The most pushing! I could tell! Why did I out kick him?!?!? Cause I was digging more! I was pushing more! That's all it takes! Is that power! The mental power! I had more mental power this race than all of my races combined! I can say that with pure intent! Best race I have ever had! It was a life changing experience! I will never forget it! I am ready to take it the next level! The next step! One step at a time! I am very humbled from this experience, and race! Thank you everyone who was cheering me on! Everyone giving me encouragement! Just to keep digging! I honestly would have to say that I thank "Coach Holt the most, and Daddy Gillespie!" Cause they really gave me the most encouraging words! Daddy Gillespie said this every time I passed him! "Keep that fire BURNING!" I didn't know if he ment my hair, which was my guess! Or the mental power! I thought about both! Thanks a lot Pine View! I give all credit to you for giving me more power! Really helps a lot! Well Best race ever! I am thankful that I ran so well! And that I gave it all! No regrets! All positive thoughts! I can say I left everything on the course! I am looking towards state, and start putting more focus into that! And have fun with it! XC FOR EVER!

Morning- Nice and easy 3! Looking really forward towards state! Felt a little sluggish.

Afternoon- Speed work out. It was raining today! Which is amazing, because I love to run in the rain! The work out was 800, 600, 400, 200, and then all out 400, and 200. It not too bad. Equal recovery.  1 mile warm up, and 1 mile cool down. I felt amazing doing the work up. But a little tight in the right calve, and arch was feeling weird too. But overall great! And I love to run in the rain! And doing the 800 it felt amazing, time was 2:25. 600 was 1:36?, 400 was 1:06? And the 200 was 31. And then the all out ones were all out the first half.... And then just died off.... But right about then I started feeling really fatique, dizzy, and confused... And felt like I wanted to faint.... I was just feeling dehydrated.... I later then still felt like crap... Like the worst I have felt before in a long time.... And the 400 was 1:04.... And the 200 was like 28ish! Which is pretty great. Overall great work out, but I just wanted to die on the all outs... Usually I like going all out, and going fast, even if it hurts! Cause I love sprints! They are sooo fun! They suck, but I love them! Just fun to me! Don't know why! I hope I don't feel like this tomorrow.... I was really tired, and I had really no energy do to the lack of food...

Morning- Did a little shake out run. Was feeling ready, and great for state.

Race Report-

One of the greatest racing experiences ever! I was on the starting line, and I wasn't nervous at all. Because I had put all my focus on racing! The entire race, and before the race. It was like my brain just focused for me, and did the mental power. Like it just came to me this time! I have never felt this way, before during a race, which is really great! Usually I think of racing as the biggest thing in my life... It's in the top 3! It's big, and it matters to me! And now I figured it out, if that I think of it as just like a normal run, but I have to go fast! Like I am racing! So I know now how to race really smart now. All I have to do a little more at a time. Is just in power it! But back to the race! So I was on the all, not nervous at all. And the gun fires. I would have to say," My start felt fast! And it was fast!" I just started out a little too fast, but I realized in a race like this, you can't do normal strageys... But just kill it 1st, 2nd, and 3rd mile! Just go crazy! My first mile was a 5:20. And I knew that was fast for a first mile. But it's state! And I was prepared to go fast! I started to settle a lot from mile 1 to mile 2... And I realized that I was settling, because I had slowed down to a comfartable tempo pace.... And I realized the pain wasn't the same the first mile.... So I started to go back into gear. I was going up the back hill and passed a few. And started digging from this point! I started really picking up the pace! From about a 5:50 to about a 5:30! So I was really going slow on mile 1 to 2... But I am glad that I realized that I was settling! I start going and by the time I know. There is 800 meters left... And I was like this is my race! I run the 800! But just a little before that.... Like 600 meters left. I started doubting myself....... NEVER DO THAT! I hate when I do that! But then I remembered this is my race! So I give it a nice push. And with about 250ish meters left. I was thinking, "I'm done, because I got passed by like atleast 5-7 guys on the 800 stretch..... But then I started my push/kick! And I really felt like someone was really pushing me! It was weired. But I am glad it happened! And I felt like I had to make a choice when this happened. Slow down and ease to the pain, or make it hurt EVEN MORE?!?! So I thought to myself! How bad do I want it!?!? So I go even harder. And I started passing again! And with 125ish meters left. Paul was leading this group of 4. And I was like I gotta get around this guys NOW!!! So I go, and I started gaining ground. I passed like 2, and then with 50 meters to go. This kid behind me the entire race, kicks harder, and I was like every point matters! So I give it a little surge. And pass 1 more guy at the end of the race! I hope that did something to their team or another! Cause I love hurting other teams! Just destroying them! Ok. I will go into detail now about some of the things that happened during the race. About 1.5ish miles into the race. I was going around the pond. And this kid tripped another kid. And he rolled in this garden place thing with dirt. And remember there are like kids passing him like crazy. Took him a few seconds to recover, and I give props to this kid. But immedatly the kid responsed to it! He must have gotten the biggest aderaline. Because he got start up, and gunted like a beast! And just started spriting to were he was! And another detail in my race I left out. Was About 1.5ish miles in the race. Around the kid tripping. Paul and I started to really push each other. Like we were surging a lot. I would take the lead, and he would. And it went on for atleast 3-5 times. And he finally takes the lead again, and holds it! Great job Paul (goggles)!!!!! We did good I guess considering our 6th and 7th guys scored.... But its ok. People have off days. I understand. But I can say,"I raced it smart!" But I think the only thing I did was I settled from the mile 1 to mile 2..... That was the only mistake I made.... But I learn from it! Lets lift our heads high! And go with what we got. Next year, and the rest of the this year. I am just going to build strong off this 5th placing! This was the first time I raced at state! But the years before we were state champs, and 3rd. Now we took 5th.... But I raced in it, and scored! :) So I can say," I can build strong off it!" We had great, and bad turn outs from both sides of the team. Boys and girls. But we can learn from it! I can learn from it! I am proud of our team! For how much work, and trust we put into! The morning runs, the work-outs. And all the other stuff, which we do! Great race for me! But now it's really time to start working really hard! Get ready for Foot-Locker, and the plan is to step it to the next level! One step at a time!

Afternoon- Ran some killer Sun-rise hills! 5 times all about 0.25 up and 0.25 down. So 0.5 total for 1 set. And on the first 3 I felt junky, sluggish, and just felt outta shape.... But on the 4th one I just pushed and told myself one more after this! So I did pretty good on this one! On the 5th one! I was like alright! Suck it up and just do it! So I have to say,"I ran this one on all guts!" Just going, and digging! Remember I am feeling like crap!!! Just wanna puke! But great run! Almost died at the top of each one... But great running experience! Hopefully I feel better tomorrow...

Morning- Nice and easy 3. For one morning I was loud! Felt weird, but I regretted it in 1st period...

Afternoon- Had 7.25 mileage. And had a work out. With 2 mile warm up and 2 mile cool down. Felt great! These were in minutes (1,2,3,4,3,2,1). So like a pyramid! Felt great! 1,2,3 were all strong, but a little slow. And I started to get where I should be on 3's rest! And after that like on 4,3,2,1. I was right where I should be! And people were getting tired! So I started passing a few. And I could tell I could give more! But I realized something in this work out, because we had a little surge for 10-30 seconds of each one. And just like in a race. You settle to a pace. And you just give it a little surge, and hold that pace!!!! And I realized that if I start out fast, but controlled. I can later give more, and kick more! But it goes both ways! Just not kill the first mile.... But make it fast! Then kill the next 2!!!

Afternoon- Today I was really tired, and just didn't really want to run... But I finally just got up, and started to run! And I am really glad that I started going, because like after 1 mile I started feeling the energy again like usual! And I started just going a little faster, because I felt great! And ran up dirt mile, then down to David's and looped it back to Turner Turf farm, and did that again without David, but went to Heck Hole. And did some nice old fartleks! They were great! Timed these in periods of 2 minutes. And the first one was solid, but controlled. Next one was really pushing just going fast. Like a work out. And the last one was all out up hill! Felt great! Last one, reminded me about racing! Just starting to hurt, having that pain there! I like to see how much pain I can take! So every time I started to feel pain, I just sped up to hurt more! Love doing it! I don't know why!!! But I love it! And I always have too much energy.... But I got thinking and it's like when I put the energy to focus. Into mental power I just can do anything!!! At region I did that! And just thinking back on it. It always gives me the chills!!! Like right now.... Brrr cold! But great run!

Afternoon- 7 miles. 2 mile warm up, and 2 mile cool down. With a 2k (2 1,000's put together.) Like a time trial. And 2x1000's. On the time trial. I hit a 2:56, which is pretty fast for me! And then ended it with a 6:10... The second split was bad (3:14) for me.... But it was solid after a 2:56. Had a little longer rest, and after that on the 1000's. My first one was a 2:56. And the next one was 2:56!!! Pretty consistent I would say! That's what I need! Is consistency! Just stick with it! I have been feeling really confident in all aspects of my life! It's great! Like School, sports, Me, and even home work!!!! It's super great! Like anything that comes in my way. I just stomp it! Well great run today! I am getting to that point! Where I just need to give it a little more speed, and I am there! But training is like a bike going up a hill. You are either losing ground, and getting worse. Or you are pushing hard up the hill, and gaining ground, and getting better! So I thought I will get better! :)

Morning- Had Michigans! They are so fun, but hard! They almost feel like a race, and just get you going! Even if you are on a off day or something! I felt like I did pretty good. Not my best, but alright! Time was 26:04? Better than last time, which was on the track. And this was around the track and the 800 loops! So I ran faster on this one! But I just should have gone with the front pack the first 1.5 mile tempo section. That's all I have to work on! Is just push that little part, and then I got it down! Great work out!

Afternoon- 5 miles with 4x200's. Felt great! The 5 miler, which had a mile tempoish thing. We just picked up the pace for about a mile. And then the 200's were all pretty quick! Times were 32,34,32,30! So pretty good! Ready for AF!!!!

Morning- I woke up that morning just feeling great! And the night before I was just thinking about racing, and thinking about track racing. Like my mind set. And just going. Just start. Don't think about the race. Just see what happens! 

Race Report-

Woke up. And all the boys were like why are you sooo happy?!?!? Cause I felt great! Thats why! And did 4 mile warm up, which I liked a lot! Got used to the course, and actually did some racing tips throughout warm up. Focused really well! So we start on the line, and we had really no box. So we go on the very side. Where NO one is at besides our team... And I told myself to start right behind Casey. And for once............................ Casey messed me up......... The gun fires, and Casey trips!!! And I started sprinting right behind him. So he clipped me, and I tripped, and rolled like 5 times.... Did like 5 360's.............. It was the worst start I have ever had.......... But so it kinda gave me an aderline. And I get right back up, and just start sprinting to catch up.... Cause I was almost in last place.... And I was thinking about making a false start, but the only guys by me were Casey, and Paul... So if I was going to trip anyone. It would have been them, and Casey already did... But anyways. I am in like the last, last pack... And I got boxed in, till about 800 meters in the race. So I start picking up the pace. And the first mile was 5:43.... Super slow..... So I told myself to make up some ground. So I pick it up even more, and more. And just keep speeding up. And just kept gaining more ground, which I had a lot to make up. And I only got passed once this entire race! Which was pretty cool! Going around this really sharp turn. This kid like 2 feet in front of me. Trips and falls. I could have spiked him in the FACE! I should have! But instead I hurdled him... Lucky kid!!! >:D But after that I went even faster. And this AF kid I was going right behind. Coach just said,"Go for 10 seconds hard!" So I go for 10 seconds counting... And my breathing starts matching my breathing, which was pretty cool. But I just counted slowly. And by the time I know it. I passed like 5 kids! And I told myself 1 more time again! So I go! Finishing the 2nd lap. Last and final lap I see Paul like 600 meters ahead... And I was like I wanna beat Paul this race! So I just start thinking like this kid, just going all out! And I start! And the entire time, I kept going, trying to catch up!!! By this point I was digging pretty deep, but still controlled. And about 600 meters left, I told myself. I gotta go now!!!! GO!!!! Just SCREAMING, and YELLING mentally!!!!! And it worked!!! GOGOGOGOGOGOOGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I go after Paul! I go on the track and pass him, and with 100 meters left I was like I am #5 guy! Too many points! So I pass Paul, and some other kids. And Paul drafts right behind me! And with 25 meters left Paul starts to go off the track, because the finish was all messed up.... And I started slowing down a lot.... Which I should not have.... But then he passed me at the end.... And got me by like 0.25................ Like super close... I didn't have a normal sprint at the end, but great race!!!!!!! I was happy with my time, and placing! Cause Paul, and I were like 8 seconds behind Colton! And considering I ran my first mile in 5:43............. And tripping at the start, getting boxed in the first half mile, and hurdling some kid. I guess I did great! And caught up to Paul! If I would have not tripped.... I could have been right behind Colton! So great race! Next time I trip!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to HIT SOMEONE in the face, if they do not call a "False Start!!!" During the race, just lay him out!!! (Not you Casey!) :) But someone else!!!!!!

Morning- Nice, and good 3. Had to go a little faster, because ride was late....

Afternoon- 10 miles with 0.5 mile warm up. 10 miles for distance today! Felt great! Had a little speed up thing through the middle, or felt like it. And I have not done a 10 miler since summer.... So yeah... It's been a while! But great experience! I felt like crap most of the run, because I had stomach problems... Had to use the bathroom, but I just told myself to hold it till the end of the run.... Not a good idea.... But last 0.5 mile was a sprint out thing, and we continued to speed up. And just seeing rest of the boys speed up makes me speed up! And I started getting this feeling about sprinting at the end of a hard work-out, or race. And just listening to my foot steps! It's weird, but if I think I can go faster, than I can! Great run!

Morning- 3 miles. Felt great!

Afternoon- One of the most craziest work outs ever! Felt like a race! Pushing really hard, and going out hard everyone! Just kept digging each one! But the set was (1200,1000,800,600) x 3 times! So pretty crazy! Never have done a work out like this, before!!! 3 minute recovery on each one! First set I just told myself to stay strong. And the 2nd set started to get harder... And by the 3rd set... I thought I was going to die... But I came back! On the last 1000. People started to die out, and lasts when I started to dig more, and start pulling the pack myself! So the 800 was strong. And the last 600 everyone was sprinting it out! It was insane! But great work out! All of my times like the same distance (1200,1000,800,600). Were pretty much all the same. Like within 5 seconds of each other. And on the last set. My 1000, and 800, and 600 (meters). Were all faster than the first two! Which is pretty cool! Great running experience! Because this was more of a mental strength thing too most of us. And I know I am in shape, but I just think, and believe in myself. Like my brain is doing push ups! It's great!

Morning- 3 miles. Felt really focused on the time trial!

Afternoon- Great warm up. And the time trial was just great! I felt great about my time, and place. Even though I could have done better. But it was still super great! I was happy the entire time! And then we did a 4 mile cool down to get mileage. And with 4x200's at the end. Times for the 200's were 32,32,32, and 31. Soooo all really good. Just need to get a little faster with those. Like get all 31's! That would be great!

Race Report-

So we all line up. And guess what happened again!?!? I tripped again....... This is like a tradition now for me, or something.... This has happened 2 times now, before a race. Like we start out. And I trip..... But I got straight up, and started to sprint a little to get to the lead pack, and I did! Guys packed it in the first 600 meters. And some died off, and some didn't. But the first split for the 1200 was 4:11. And I was aiming for 4:10. So pretty good! But then my pace started to die a little, but I kept telling myself to speed up every time. I even thought about slowing down, or going slower time wise... So I kept digging! And by the second lap. I was starting to get a little tired, but still had a lot left. And I really started to do my kick. And Abel stuck right on me the entire time! Which is good for both of us! And I think I am getting a lot more confidence, because I usually worry about burning out. But not this time. I just tell myself to go with it from the start, and see what happens! And so I continue to speed up, and going up the hill. I really tried to work on my form (Form gets really bad). But then going around the PV rock. I continue, and Abel really starts sprinting hard. And I try and match his pace, and I do, but he goes harder. And I do. But with like 50 meters left. It was weird. Cause it was like I was drafting off of him... And I wanted to pass him, but it's like I was in like his air current??? Super weird I know, but you know that is how I am!!! But great race! Great experience! I am really starting to love these hard days! Almost everyday, because I feel so accomplished!!!!

Morning- Went out about 10:30ish. And I just started out nice, and easy. Just gradually made my pace faster. And I really didn't think on this run. But I went up to the dirt mile ran 2 of those. And then did a big loop of 8 miles. And on the last 2ish miles. I started to pick up the pace. And what was weird. Was I got that puking feeling.... Why would I get that feeling when I am not going crazy killer pace? But oh well..... Life moves on! Great run! I felt like a was pushing, and digging. Working on my form! I just was thinking if people saw me! I don't know why! Cause last year I used to never do saturday runs, until I saw Tyson doing it one time! That's all it took! I was like if he is running then I should be! Cause I wanna improve! But if your wanting to improve. Your going to have to push through the pain, and put in the work. But while doing the work. You have to be commited, determinded, and believe in yourself! That's all it takes! Is just that next step! And I have had a great week of running! I was pushing my self all week on the days I was supposed! I got thinking on this run. And I realized that I go out of my comfort zone about 4-7 times a week! Like running wise! That's pretty cool! And now that I realized that! It's time to unleash the BEAST MODE!!!!!!!

Morning- 3 miles. Nice and easy. Felt focused and conifedent for Regionals. And it was a bit chilly!

Afternoon- Weather was great! Had a nice, and strong work out that had 5x1000's. They weren't really that bad... But I was just mad at myself, because I thought we had 8.... So I was going 8x1000's mode. And considering my stomach was all jacked up, and twisted..... That didn't help anything... I don't know, if it was something I ate.... But I felt like crap..... And on the cool down I felt like I didn't even run that hard..... Only part that really hurt like bad was just my stupid stomach.... I need to watch what I eat.... But good learning experience. I was really surprised with the times I got, cause my FLIPPING GUTS were slapping me in the stomach..... Times were 3:14, 3:06, 3:06, 3:10, and 3:08..... But I hope I feel better tomorrow....

Race Report- Got a nice warm up in. Too be honest. I was a little nervous. But I now know how to race! I just focus, and get mentally prepared! That's it! So we get on the line. Colton, and Paul are in front. And Abel, and I are in the back. So the gun fires, and we take off. I told myself to go with Paul. So I did. I had a great start for once in 2 races!!! But great start! I just hanged on Paul for the start. And he started working his way up so I started too. And the first mile came quicker than I thought!!! :) First mile was 5:02 (Almost my mile P.R. LAST YEAR!!! HAHA).... And I keep going. And just told myself to hold that pace as long as I can, and continue it through out the next mile. And about 1.45 miles in. There was a dike (hill), and I started to go a little faster on this, because my pace had fallen just a little off, but I was getting back too it! And this was the coolest part of the race! Paul pulled ahead a little, but Abel, Colton, and I were all within like 1-2 seconds of each other!!!! Super cool!!!! And it was like a square, or box! It was kinda like the Dixie race. The entire race was a pack of 4 guys!!! But we continue, and hit mile 2! Mile 2 time was 10:33 (another 2 mile P.R.)!!! :) But with 1 mile to go! I really started to dig right here! And I honestly felt fine, like amazing actually. It was weird, cause I have never ran this fast the first 2 miles of a race, but I felt great! So yeah!!! Good thing! And I just kept going! And with about 800 meters I just stop digging pretty much.... I was still going, but not enough to pass anyone, or get passed by anyone.... It was weird.... For a half a mile. No one passed me, or I passed anyone.... But I thought I was going to die.... It was crazy! It was amazing!!! But coming down home stretch. I see Abel, and a pack of 5-7 guys. And I wanted to catch them, but they all took off. And this kid that was about 5'6'. And with red, thick, and long hair! I was like I have seen this kid all the race! So I start sprinting it in, and with like 25 meters left. I started really catching him, and by the time I sprinted all the way in. I got him by 0.1 seconds!!!!! I was laughing so hard about it after the race!!!! Pulling that trick really works sometimes!!!! But I learned to sprint it in all the way. But great race! I have to say. This was one of my best races ever! And I loved it! Can't wait till FOOT-LOCKER!!!!

Afternoon- Went out about 12ish. And ran out towards grape-vine. Was a different kind of run. Because not doing anything physical one day, then the next running hard.... The first mile or so my knees went into like LOCK-MODE.... I hated it.... I was crazy hurting.... But after a while. My legs relaxed, and just shaked out. So I didn't feel my best, but it was a lot better than yesterday. I through in the tempo in the middle of the run. Went about 6:00 pace.... Slow..... But I didn't want the sickness to come back... But I am looking towards Foot-Locker! Just need to tear it up!

So we were the last heat. And I was excited, because I told myself to go sub 5 no matter what! And I just kept thinking positive! So we take out and first lap was a 1:08. That could use a little work just about by 2-4 seconds. And the second I had no idea.... But third lap was 3:38! And I was like wow! I really went sub 5! But I want better than that! So I went pretty hard on this lap with Kyler, and I have learned from this and a lot of other races, and work outs. That if someone passes me just to surge with them, and then break off of them, and take the lead!!! Fourth lap I was 4:49! NEW P.R.!!!! And I have never felt that great on the 3rd lap, and last lap! Which is great! I know know what I can do! And it just gives me confidence!!!! It really motivates me!!!! Now is the time to work harder than ever!!!!

Morning- Woke up feeling really ready! Slept really great! Had a nice breakfast, and focused for my race on the bus ride. And during breakfast. Arrived there, and watched some of the other races. Watched the girls race, and the youngsters. Some did really well! As one of the kids past by. I said,"GO!! I got money on you!" I just joking though....

Race Report-

Did 3 mile warm up. And 1.5 mile cool down. Just to get that out of the way. So I had a goal of taking top 48, and placing. So I walked up to the race feeling confident, and ready to run really hard! The hardest I have the entire season! So we get on the line. And just like 1-2 minutes, before we start. I thought of a running experience that a friend of mine told. And it just gave me the chills, made my feel really good inside. Like an overwhelming feeling of joy, and happiness! So I just wanted to go to my happy place during the race. So I did so. And the gun fires. I take off in the top 50 or so. But I just told myself to relax, and the first 800 meters I fell back to about 85th-100th place. And I could tell kids were having anxiety. Like they wanted to win. But I just told myself again to relax. And in my mind during this part. I was mentally arguing just telling myself to relax, but in the mean time as the race is going on. I am in my happy place! :) And about 1,200 meters in. I tell myself now go!!!! So I go! And the first mile was 5:18. And I was like nice! Let's throw down another one of those! And starting to go up the switch-backs.  I started to really kick it into gear. And I started passing kids like crazy! Which the kids at the start had really died off.... But after the Switch-backs (which were not as hard as I thought they would be!) I started to make my way up. Passing Jason, and then seeing Byron, and Abel pulling ahead. Just telling myself to get to that pack. And going around "Poop Out Hill" I passed another huge amount of kids. And in my mind. I told myself, "Hills are friends!". Sounds crazy, but it works! And it's so true! But after that I don't remember much of the next part. Just racing. And going into mile 2. I felt amazing! Like I have never felt this great in a race before! EVER!!! It was crazy! So I just told myself to go! And by the time I know it. I was going up the last hill. And passed a good amount of kids. Atleast 5-8 people. And going down the hill..... Oh my! Kids just started sprinting! So I just took a leap of faith! Just to go! And I released all brakes, and just starting sprinting, but controlled. And I started my kick from there! With about 1000-800 meters left. I just started to really go, and about 600 meters left I pass coach Holt. And the says, " Your in 50th place! Now go!!!" And I was like yeah! I want a medal, and place high!!! So I asked myself, "How bad do you really want that medal?!?!?!?" I just took off from there! Turn off the grass part. Going in confident not worrying about burning out. And I thought the finish was at the end of the Gauntlet for some reason (saw the kids finish there that were younger). And I just started sprinting from there. And no one else was sprinting.... And I thought to myself why isn't anyone else sprinting??? And I realized we finished on the track..... And I was like great 300 more meters... But I was honestly glad that I had that! Cause that means I have more ground to pass more kids! And I just take off! Just flying! And I was wanting to beat Abel! And he goes harder, and I go ever harder! And every time he went harder I went harder! And about every 25 meters I went harder, and harder, and HARDER!!! Till I thought I was going at full speed, and I went EVEN HARDER!!!! Crazy as it sounds. I went faster than I thought I could! And it's amazing what confidence and what the mind can do! And I finished. Just wanting a medal! And just wanting to win! Just like Nacho says,"I wanna taste the glory!" And they are giving out medals! And I was just freaking out. Thinking I would not get one.... But they asked me what grade I was in. And told them Junior! And I got a MEDAL!!!! YEAH!!!!!! I PLACED!!!! I was SUPER SUPER DUPER HAPPY!!!!! I was freaking out, and shouting for joy! And getting all excited! And cheering! :) And just telling everyone great job!!!! And after that I did cool down. And watched Mike, and Casey race. Good race to watch. But this was by far the most, and best racing experience to be in, and around. Just the course, and the people. It's crazy! It's MIND BLOWING!!!!! Well Great Job Pine View! I hate to see the season end, but the season might end, but CROSS COUNTRY (XC) Never ENDS!!!!! XC 4 EVER!!!!

Afternoon- Didn't want to feel lazy. So I went walking for 15 minutes, and shot hoops for about 25 minutes or so. And then went on a bike ride for 31 minutes. Pretty good activities for the 2 week break. Hopefully something more productive tomorrow. Did some Core stuff to help out my soreness.... Good day though. I was very happy with my performance at Foot Locker in fact. I was really shocked! Weird to say I know, but I am wanting to go even harder next year. And go to nationals as a team!!!

Afternoon- 3 miles. 1 mile warm up. 1 mile run and 1 mile cool down. It was the fundraiser for a family that needs help with their child that has cancer. The boy is 6 years old. I ran like a 7:30 mile! :) Each lap we drank egnog.... It was nasty!!!!! I felt alright.... But the last lap I just took off! :)

Afternoon- Nice and solid miler! Felt pretty good! I am feeling in shape again! :) That's a good thing! And now I am noticing that I am really insane crazy sometimes.... Like bouncing off the walls (literally!), and yelling my face out! Like it's crazy! I guess that's just me! Crazy "Red Leader"! :) Mabey that's why when I put my mind to something I do it well!

Morning- 5 miles. Felt better than most of the week. I felt a lot better yesterday. But today wasn't too bad... In fact it was quick fun, because I ran with some of the boys! Abel, Paul, Krenshaw, David, Jake B., and Cam B, and me! So pretty nice pack. It was fun!

Morning- Ran with Abel, Byron, Krenshaw, David, and I. It was a good run. Pushed myself mentally which is great! And we ran on the half marathon course, which was a good experience, because I am going to most likely run that in Feb. So good run. I started feeling a little questionable about myself physically. Not doubt, but thinking negative I guess.... Have to fix that while I can!

Morning- Nice and easy 3. Got 2 new pair of shoes! WOOT WOOT! They are pretty sweet shoes too! But these pair feel nice, and roomy like my other Gel ones. :) These runs after getting easier, and easier!

Morning- Went out about 12. I ran to walmart to check out the watchs there! And there are some "mind blowing" watchs there! And I ran back and went the shorter way this time, because the long way was a bit too long... But I realized I was breathing some what hard the last mile... So I really worked on my breathing counts. Which could use some work... But then I remembered how hard you work during a race, and you just ran your guts out, and after that finish line. Everyone is like great job! You killed it! And just thinking about that I know now that people rely on me... Like during this next track season. I am going to rely on myself to see what I can truely do, and see what I am made out of! Either its the 800, 1600, 3200, or 400. I am going to run my guts out, and once that pain comes I am going to make it hurt even more!!! And really see what running is all about!!! :)

Morning- Went out about 9. With Byron, Abel, Krenshaw, David, and I! It was super fun! Lots of memories!!! Thats all I can say, if you know what I mean! But super fun run. We just talked a lot about life, and just running in general. How hard we really work in order to accomplish out goals in life, and in running! It's a two edged sword. You can either sharpen it, and make it more useful. Or just dull it up... It's your choice! I don't know I even thought of that?!? That is scary... I have had these really crazy, but smart insights lately... Maybe I am becoming the runner I want to be!!!!!!!! How great would that be!?!? Cause it's already happening! :)
